I absolutely adore Em, my fabulous if slightly nutty pal of Em Tanner Designs (we get along BECAUSE we are both a bit nutty). And so does EVERYONE else, it would seem. We get tons of orders for her Funky Tees, the personalized t shirt with an initial and name. Her Funky Personalized plates and lunch boxes do incredibly well, too. Jon and Kate Plus 8 had a lot to do with that...since everyone is Googling As Seen On Jon and Kate Plus 8 t shirt and they find us! Well, now we have a few new items, personalized dresses and a new lunch box or two or three...
Most recently, you might have seen the Funky Tee (onesie) on Max Sutter, the adorable son of Trista and Ryan Sutter (of Bachelorette fame) wearing his on this seasons new Bachelorette show, or in Us Weekly magazine (Celebrity Baby Blog, too!) or even Pregnancy Magazine with the Lil Bro and Lil Sis (or Big Bro and Big Sis) t shirts. They are becoming very popular, indeed!

I have read a few things about Jon and Kate Plus 8, that show about the family with twin girls and then SEXTUPLETS on TLC. I have not actually seen the show yet, even though we sell the personalized plates and t shirts that they wear, by Em Tanner. I actually am not a big tv watcher in general. But I did read some of what people are saying, and have heard from fans who are so happy that we offer these products. There are some folks, mostly women, it seems who do not like Kate. They think she is mean or even bitchy, that she yells and insults her husband. I don't know anything about it since I haven't seen it, but all I can say is that ANY woman who has EIGHT children is a saint...ok maybe not a saint, but if she is even remotely SANE she has my vote! I have two children, thats right just 2. And I am a barely functioning human being on even my good days. Just this morning I was driven almost to the brink by my darling offspring who apparently did not notice that I was the only other person in the room and that while they had my full and undivided attention, they still insisted on repeating my name over and over and over and over and over again, all in one simple sentence. I recently posted about how that makes me nuts anyway and even included an hilarious YouTube clip. Now, imagine EIGHT small humans doing that all day, every single day and that one small word would make a regular gal mental! In fact, having dreamt of becoming a Mommy one day and the joy a new mother feels as her beloved baby says that magical word for the first time, discovering that eventually over time makes a mother cringe is something I think all mothers can relate to, no??
