I heart my new Canon XTi! Oh, and NYC too...
I can't remember what street we were walking on when I took these pictures, I think it was something like 7th and Avenue A, in NYC. We were just there for a few days for ENK Children's Club for our bi-annual buying trip for The Silly Wagon. It was an INCREDIBLE trip and you all will be seeing the fruits of our labor come Fall Winter! I can give a few little hints...Kenzo, Catimini, Jean Bourget, Deux par Deux, Room 7 (for you Euro lovers) and lots more. LOTS.
Plus, I got to see a fabulous show called Fuertza Bruta ( I hope thats how it is spelled) or Brute Force. It was incredible, although having seen De La Guarda first several years ago in New York, this was not as surprising, but equally incredible and fantastic! If you are in New York, I HIGHLY recommend seeing Fuertza Bruta and eating at Union Square Cafe afterwards (not cheap but ranked a top restaurant in NYC for as long as I can remember...I lived there 10 years ago and it was delicious then too.) Get the Wasabi Mashed Potatoes...'nuff said. Right up the street from Union Square , where both the restaurant AND the show are located, is ABC Carpet and Home. An incredible stop, make sure you allow yourself plenty of time for this wonderful 6 (or is it 7?) story mecca of fabulous-ness. You'll thank me, and possibly your husbands may send hate mail...no joke.
