A Great Activity For The Kids! Coloring Pages Online!
I found this TERRIFIC site, and went and PLAYED for quite a bit...it is a great way to teach kids how to use the computer in a non-computer-y way! Up To Ten is geared for ages 0-10, although somehow I think a newborn is going to have a rough time with the interface! Please go check it Up To Ten, and show your support! A truly wonderful tool for parents, teachers, and anyone who works with kiddies! The following link is just a small sample of what you can do, go explore their site! (and then come back and shop with us...just kidding, kind of) Remember you saw it HERE first!!! Boowa and Kwala : Paint the birdhousesUp To Ten has been recommended by the following: USA Today Hot Site, AOL, Yahooligans, the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), The Yuckiest site on the Web, 4kids.org, Yahoo Australia/New Zealand, TV Cable Hebdo, Micro Hebdo, Sites web 2000 (Microsoft press), Broadcast Magazine, Berit's best sites for kids, Lycos, Cybersurfari, About.com, Guide-Internet, 100Hot (the web popularity guide), GameLog, The Web This Week, Wicked 4 kids, ToysRUs, "Best Sites for Kids 2000", ZD Net, Net UK, Access Magazine, Software 2010, Tucows Kids, ZD Net...
Hospital Packing List or What To Pack When You Are Ready To Pop!
  * Labor Bag Pack a small extra bag for the labor ward. Include your insurance card, pre-check in info, camera, socks, birth plan, music, list of important numbers, snacks, a change of clothes for your partner, hairbands and a t/shirt or nightie to labor in. * Nightgowns or PJs Make them easily accessible for breastfeeding. * Leisure Wear Sorry new mommies, the reality is you will still look 20 weeks pregnant, so don't even bother with your pre-pregnancy wear! 2 pairs of loose fitting pants and a couple of nice tees will be perfect. * Robe and Slippers Hospitals are generally really warm so a lightweight gown will do. Flip Flops or slippers are perfect for the feet. * Underpants Make them white cotton and cheapies. * Comfortable Bras or Sports Bras Whether you plan to breastfeed or not, your breast will go through some interesting changes in the days following birth. Sports Bras are great in this respect. * 1 Box Breast Pads As far as breastpads go, in our experience disposable are the easiest for the first days. I also really like the silicone type nipple covers, very soothing. It seems that others generally agree, so check them out. * 3 Packets Maternity/Sanitary Pads Sanitary pads get better every year. There's no need for big bulky ones. * Personal Toiletries A big word of advice: pack anything that will make you look nice, smell nice and feel nice. Even if you are not a big makeup wearer, pack a little just in case. You may surprise yourself and actually have the urge to wear it! * Pen and Paper *Hot/Cold Packs for all your sore bits and pieces..ouch. * Mobile Phone and Charger Check with the hospital to see if they are allowed first. * For Baby Not all hospitals require you to supply clothes for baby, but these days many do so check with individual hospitals first. If you are expecting multiples increase amount by 1/2. And if you are anything like me, I brought a huge wardrobe to pla y dress up with baby for the visitors (ok, it was really for me!) * 6 gowns * 6 cotton onesies * 6 light receiving blankets* 2 pairs mittens, booties and hat * Baby bath solution * Don't forget a cute Take-Home outfit, great for photos! * Newborn Diapers, the Swaddlers with the cut-out for the cord are great. But the hospital should provide these items. Get as many of the free things as possible, you'll be amazed at how much "swag" you get at the hospital! Please for the sake of your partner or labor coach, pack them a change of clothing, a sweatshirt, slippers and a pillow or blanket. It would be very tough to do this without their support and they are often overlooked!! I brought my own pillow, for comfort and extra support. I also brought snacks for the labor nurses, you would be amazed at how far a few treats for them will get you. You'll be the favorite room! Rolos and Starburst were big favorites, I also bought Jolly Rancher lollipops, as they allowed me to suck on these, too! I also brought a few up to date magazines and a pack of new playing cards...for you, labor coach, family and friends. It takes the burden of entertaining people off the new mom, since your main job is to get the baby out and rest! Also, a great idea, is to check if you can register at your hospital for their "preferred patient" group, some hospitals offer this, and if so you are usually awarded with a free private room when you inform them, in advance, of your impending check-in! Tell us what made your experience a better one! We want to know and so do the Mommies To Be! Share the knowledge...

Wow, We're Celebrities, Baby on Celebrity Baby Blog
Click the link above to go see the entire interview!! We spoke with The Silly Wagon co-owner Whitney Wright about her brand new shop. What inspired you to start your shop? I had always wanted to open my own shop, but with my husbands frequent relocations, the reality of a shop just wasn't possible, then when I had 2 babies in 2 years, I knew the dream was going to have to wait! I finally met my partner Vered and we knew we had a match made in heaven! We decided to open an on-line shop that made the customer feel like they were in a great little shop they loved, where the shopkeeper knew their kids names, birthdays and sizes, a place that you wanted to drop by all the time just to see whats new and say hi. How long have you been in business? We have been open for just over a week!! And the response has been overwhelming! How did you come up with your store's name? As a child I came up with the cute phrase while playing with her 2 favorite Aunts and the name stuck. Kinda like a Silly Goose, a Silly Wagon is a fun, off-beat individual who has a style that they alone define! If you wear a tutu to the park, or play the banjo while donning a colander on your head or even just need to wear your new shoes to bed.... you may just be a Silly Wagon, too! Do you have a physical store as well? Not yet, but who knows where The Silly Wagon may show up next.
Go Check Out CBB to get all up to date on whats going on in Hollywood, and what the babies are wearing!
Does Baby Nay make a Boys Line? Yes, it's called Da Lil Guys!
If you are anything like me, then you have at least 2 kids, and at least one boy and one girl...I adore shopping for Gigi, my cute little 2 year old cutie pie, while Jack has been relegated to sports prints and denim. I had Jack first and swore I was going to deck that boy out in the cutest clothes I could find, but half the time, there was nothing TO find. Yeah, ok there were some great Euro boys clothes, but those were special and he couldn't exactly wear them EVERY day. Then the funky t-shirt trend arrived, I love me some cool boys t-shirts but some of those were not exactly age appropriate. Whats a fabulous Mom to do?? I needed some cool, trendy, fun and yet reasonably priced togs for my little man! Enter Da Lil Guys...super cute, really hard-wearing, everyday fun clothing for your little boy! And who else, but Baby Nay to really do it right! I always wondered why Baby Nay (Nayetal) didn't have a boys line, what with the super comfy cotton, awesome prints and easy wearing sets. Now they do. I am thrilled. Really, I am...it's just that now I want them to do a women's line. There is no pleasing me, is there?
Oilily Diaper Bags, at The Silly Wagon!
This is an adorable and functional diaper bag from Oilily Fall Collection 2007. The sweet deer and spotty mushroom are just too, too cute. I love the fashionable handles and the addition of the utility strap for hanging on a stroller. The elastic side pockets will be perfect for toting bottles and sippy cups, the zippered top is a must...Oilily has done it again! This boys Winter Diaper Bag with squirrels gathering acorns is super cute and just goes to show how great the Oilily Brand is...a mom can still be very hip and cool, and carry a more masculine style bag. Terrific functional side pockets, sturdy handles and detachable strap for hanging on strollers and chairs, added D-ring to clip much needed toys or car keys from, and very easy to clean with the oil-cloth type fabric. As the price for diaper bags goes up and up and up, it's nice to see a designer diaper bag be so affordable and stylish, too! I am big fan of all things Oilily and this has to be one of my new favorites, it's perfectly girly without being too over the top. The Beaded Frame pocket is genius! Add a picture of your favorite celebrity, boy in class or a family photo. The side pockets are very functional and the mix of prints is the epitome of why we love Oilily.

Our First Entry in The Silly Wagon Contest, Kim is VERY brave!
Our Silly Wagon Contest is under way and we have extended the deadline until July 15th! Send in YOUR silliest picture, not your kids and you may be crowned The Silly Wagon Princess. Win a fabulous hand crafted tiara, similar to this one. I suggest asking your kids to deck you out in full silly-ness and start snapping pictures! A great way to pass the time with the kids for a summer afternoon! This is Kim, isn't she GORGEOUS with her red earth facial? She swears she is dressed in a spa wrap, so we'll take her word for it. Kim also said skip the expensive frou-frou mud and just go get some good ol' fashioned Cetaphil. I totally agree, thats what we use on Jack! So, what do you think people...could this Mud Princess be the winner? Send in YOUR silliest picture if you think you can beat Kim!

Baby Nay Baby and Toddler, Fall 2007! Pre Orders
I am just LOVING these prints this season!! SOOO cute, and you may not know, but they have a NEW designer at Baby Nay this year, to shake things up a bit and I say Shake It Baby, Shake IT! Adorable, sweet, hip, fun, colorful and COMFORTABLE! I am a HUGE fan of Baby Nay clothes for little girls! They wash so nicely and girls look like girls when they wear the little swing sets, kimono sets, pretty dresses and leggings. The Silly Wagon has them available for pre order, and I love that because these cute outfits sell out quickly! I scoop up as many as I can every year for Gigi, she always look put together, and sweet! We started with the baby sacks or gown, I had about 15 ( I swear!) and she wore them until her little feet started poking out the bottom! then we moved on to the adorable kimono sets, I just love how they looked on her! Of course we had quite a few swing sets, and STILL do! I am putting my money on the Lotus Fray Dress this season, as the IT outfit for Baby Nay this year! What do you think??? Come order your Fall 2007 Baby Nay Lotus, Morning Glory, and French Rose sets and dresses at The Silly Wagon, TODAY!
